An interview is something that should be professional and polite. Interviews are a time for someone to see what a person is capable of, what a person has done and if a person can handle a certian job. Interviews are also sometimes fake, a person can put fake things on their resume so sometimes the person holdng the interview will be under false pretenses.
The aspects that go into an interview obviously involve questions to the person being interviewed. People are mostly interviewed about what happened in the event they were involved in, as well as personal information about themselves. The person being interviewed should be asked in depth questions which will shed some light on the topic they are being interviewed about. By going directly to the source, the reporter can create a better story told in a new perspective through the person they are interviewing.
I don't really have an opinion on what goes into an interview. Is'nt it just a series of questions given to someone for the purpose of media or getting a new job or somthing? I do think though that people should be honest during interviews and not just give the interviewer what they want to hear.
I think that interviews can teach alot about people, most of which you probably don't know. I think they are very intresting to read, and can be a reliable source of information.
A interview, like Jossalyn said, should be polite, but it doesn't always have to professional. Interviews could be used for jobs, getting an isiders view on something, or even a way to spread news.
I think that interviews are a productive way to gather information. Much skill is needed to interview someone. You have to be prepared ahead of time with good questions that will get you a detailed response in return.
An interview is asking someone multiple questions in order to discover unknown information about them or a different subject. If you are interviewing someone you must first realize what you are trying to find out from the interview, then you should pose questions that will help you uncover the information. When you ask the questions the person you are interviewing will answer them, your goal is to get them to admit something that will help you. For example, if you are trying to solve a crime you would ask questions relating to the crime and the scene of the crime.
In my opinion, an interview is something that helps one understand another. It is a series of questions that on person may ask another to get to know them. In most cases, an interview is used when someone is applying for a job. I agree with Jossalyn when she says that interviews should be professional and polite. There are a variety of questions that can be asked during an interview. I suppose it all depends on the type of interview, purpose for the interview, and the people involved. I also agree with Jessica when she says that an interview is a productive way to gather information.
In my opinion an interview is when you talk to someone and ask them question to get an idea about that person. During the interview you can also ask personal questions that go along with the idea your talking about.
An interview should definately be polite as Marta and Jossalyn said. Usually interviews are used to find out information. Sometimes you get interviewed when you do something and there's going to be an article in the newspaper. They need to get quotes from the person themself. Also there's job interviews, they use interviews when they need to find out information about you.
Interviews must be productive and professional. You need to work hard to think of questions that you might ask the person. Also as the person who is being ask the questions you need to be polite and you would need to think hard to answer the questions that are being asked to you.
Intervies are about getting to no someone, that you might not know to well. When you interview someone you get to about them and there personal life. If you are giving the interview you might want to get into deep details with them and what happend so that way you no excatle what happend. If the reporter was to go right to the main person in the story than they would have a better chance at getting the truth.
Interviews should be personnal. There should be an acceptable amount of deep and interesting questions being asked, and lengthy, quality answers. The questions should be thought up prior to the interview, and during the interview it may be appropriate for some additional questions to be asked as a result of the other person's anwsers. The answers should be true, with not an ounce of embelishment or lying. The person answering the questions must be willing to give all information necessary.
I agree with Jessica. Interviews are a good and productive way to get information about someone or somthing. Its a better way to get the truth about something versus getting false information by rumors or somthing else.
I agree with Mckenzie, on the fact that they may sway your opionon on a certain topic, and I also agree that an interview is one of the best sources of information on a certain person you can find.
I agree with John regarding the fact that interviews are a reliable source. Also, I agree that interviews are interesting to read, not only to unravel the answers to the questions but I also think the format is unnique compared to regular artciles.
What should be put into an interview is specific questions you have for a certaint person. You want to make sure you get as much of the truth as possible. You wouldn't want lies to go out into the world because no matter what you tell people they will always believe the worst of others.
I believe an interview is a time for people to get to know each other. It should be professional. It can be stressful for everyone involved. An interview is a lot of questions, usually pertaining to one subject. In a job interview for example, the questions may include, but are not limited to, job experience, hours, etcetera. Many talk shows like Ellen and Oprah have interviews with celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Usher, and Taylor Swift. Interviews are a time to gather information as Jenna said before.
In the Frank Sinatra interview, he wasn't actually asked direct questions. Instead of recieving information from Sinatra, the interviewer had to use observations about him (such as his actions, his attitude, his behavior) in order to draw conclusions. This was a very clever interview due to the lack of conversation, especially when the only communication the interview had directly from Sinatra wasn't even aimed at him. Although the article lacked direct information from Sinatra, we can still gather the kind of mood he was in just based on his actions- quiet, solemn, angry. It gives off an appearence of how he's been lately, and sometimes actions do speak louder than words.
Whoever intereviewed Frank Sinatra would have to be pretty good in that which they do. I say this because he did not give alot of information so it might have been hard for someone who was just starting to work in that feild. But someone as experienced as this person obviously had some trouble interveiwing Sinatra but did a wonderful job.
