  3. I agree with most of this article, location from websites does focus on the younger demographic.

  4. I also agree with this article, we shouldn't say where our location is on facebook or etc. when we are out.

  5. I do not agree or disagree with this article because it is based from multiple people's opinions. However as most of the people in the article said, they do not like giving out their location and do not like the location app which I do agree with because of safety reasons. People should not know if you are not at home or ect.. because then they are aware that you may not be present at your house for example. This may cause a criminal offense. I liked all of the statistics added in this article as well.

  6. After reading this article I agree with the people that disagree with the Location app. This app could potentially be dangerous especially to the younger generation like myself. I strongly disagree with the people that say this app benefits there life in multiple ways. I for one don't think it is nor will ever be safe. But overall i like the concepts of this article and facts given.

  7. I agree with the idea that locations shouldn't be shared online. Once something is online, anyone can see it and cause harm or etc. to the person.

  8. This article does a nice job of showing both sides of the story. People can gain useful discounts for sharing their location, but some don’t need those. Personally, I do not think it is a good idea to share your location with others. It is not safe to give away such personal information. Perhaps when we are among the seventy percent of people over nineteen, we have a choice. As an adult, those are your decisions. But I still am against giving away your location.

  9. This article uses good diction as well as valid reasoning, and statistics. I do not agree with sharing your location. I feel it could cause danger to the user, especially if you are not an adult giving away such information could have a bad consequence.

  10. I do not agree with sharring your location with anyone that you don't know. You could be put at risk and put the people that you are with at risk also.

  11. I also agree with everyone who feels that posting your location on a website is not necessary and can put you in danger. There is no need for hundreds, or even thousands, of people to read where you are and what you are doing 24/7. That information should be kept private to ensure your safety. I definitely agree with McKenzie's example of people being aware that you are not present in your home can cause a criminal offense. Internet companies focusing more and more on location could cause much harm. I hope that people will not start having addictions to these type of companies because with their public information so easily accessible, they will be at risk.

  12. First off, the article is well written. I disagree with sharing your location through Facebook or any social networking website similar. I believe that it us somewhat unsafe to do so, even if you choose to "check in" as you leave the place, like one person mentioned in the article. I like the face that statistics were used, they always keep the reader interseted, and make the article better overall. I am also confused about one thing. Is the main point of the article the corprate effect of this app, or the pros and cons of it?

  13. As many of my classmates have stated, the sharing of locations throught the internet is not only stupid but dangerous. It is so easy for a criminal to go onto the internet and find out where you are. Let's face it, there are creepy people in the world, and if we post our location on the internet we are pretty much asking them to come find us. Like Jessica said, hopefully people will become aware of posting locations on the internet and allowing yourself to stay away from those internet websites.

  14. First, I am not sure if I was required to post a response to this particular blog because I was not here when it was assigned but I did it anyways just in case.

I agree with many of my classmates and the article when it states that sharing your location and personal information over the internet and through different apps is dangerous. I think that by stating facts, the article was more informative. This information also supported the author's opinions of whether or not people should share their location through websites such as facebook. I also agree with this article because in allowing people to know where you are the majority of the day, you could be causing trouble or conflict for yourself. By accessing your facebook, people who may want to cause harm to you could determine where you are and what your doing at specific times. This is clearly not a good thing nor is it safe for anyone, especially children to be doing.

  15. I dont think it is right that people are getting rewarded for telling numbers of people, exactly where they are. It is both risky and dangerous. It is wrong for stores to even have such a "sale" going on. Even if the store only knows your location (ShopKicks), It can still be dangerous. Theyre are alot of bad people out there, and if they know your information, including your location, who knows what could happen.
